With just two days until the world’s biggest celebrities hit the city for the Toronto International Film Festival, City brings you close to the action with coverage of the most-anticipated red carpets, gala screenings, late night parties, and the stars.

Kicking off the first day of the festival on Thursday, Breakfast Television will take over the red carpet at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto for a live broadcast from TIFF central. Throughout the festival, our coverage on Entertainment City will give you the day’s first scoop on late-night, breaking entertainment news on television, online, and mobile.

New this year, Cityline guest experts Yanic Simard and Shai DeLuca-Tamasi transform the Entertainment City interview room into a glamorous backdrop inspired by the festival’s global representation.

Tune into Entertainment City on CityNews where Dina Pugliese, Melanie Ng, Tammie Sutherland, and the hilarious celebrity expert duo of Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan report live from the red carpets and parties, bringing viewers closer to the stars. Making his TIFF red carpet reporting debut is Canada’s favourite bachelor – Brad Smith. City will also carry around-the-clock TIFF action with live videos on-demand, and live-streaming on CityNews.ca.
