Day five of the Toronto International Film Festival kicks off on Monday, on the heels of some star-studded world premieres, including the ensemble comedy, This is Where I Leave You.

Tina Fey, Jason Bateman and Jane Fonda were greeted by a big crowd at Roy Thomson Hall on Sunday evening for the screening of their new film, which is about a dysfunctional family that reunites for a funeral.

Montreal-born director, Shawn Levy, is behind the project, which is set for wide-release next week.

The Equalizer also made its world premiere at TIFF on Sunday, in which Denzel Washington plays an ex-CIA agent in the crime-thriller. As Tracy Moore learned on the red carpet, Washington has a long history with Toronto.

“Toronto, you know, the Canadian people are lovely, they are profound,” explaining why Toronto is the perfect place for the world premiere.
