Hockey Night in Canada Cheat Sheet: Dec. 13

This week, Hockey Night in Canada has an action-packed lineup in store for you.

There are five games being shown across the country, including three Canadian teams.

You’ve got Alain Vigneault taking on his old team in Vancouver, a classic Original Six tilt in Toronto, and a visit from the Ducks in Winnipeg. Too bad there’s no Teemu.

Programming Note: George Stroumboulopoulos sat down for an exclusive interview with NHL owners Larry Tanenbaum of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Jeremy Jacobs of the Boston Bruins and Murray Edwards of the Calgary Flames.

THE 7 P.M. GAMES:

Detroit Red Wings vs. Toronto Maple Leafs 
Channel: CBC
Broadcast crew: Paul Romanuk, Craig Simpson, Glenn Healy
Game notes: The Leafs have won two straight against Detroit, but have just a 1-2-1 record in their last four home games against the Red Wings…Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk has 13 points in 12 career games vs. the Leafs, but he has only registered one goal…Jimmy Howard has a career .911 save percentage against Toronto.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Winnipeg Jets 
Channel: City
Broadcast crew: Dave Randorf, Garry Galley
Game notes: Winnipeg has lost their last two home games against Anaheim…Jets forward Andrew Ladd has 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 15 career games against the Ducks…Anaheim is on the back end of a back-to-back. They play in Edmonton Friday night.

New York Rangers vs. Vancouver Canucks

Game notes: Canucks are 5-2-0 in their last seven home games vs. Rangers…Canucks goalie Ryan Miller is 13-7-5 with a 2.35 goals-against average, and .924 save percentage in 26 career games vs. New York…Rick Nash has 15 goals (32 points) in his career against the Canucks.
