Counting down to Cityline’s 30th anniversary!

Winston Sih | posted Monday, Feb 10th, 2014

It’s been a Canadian household staple for many years, but can you believe Cityline is turning 30? The show is looking pretty fab for 30!

Tracy Moore, alongside the show’s roster of guest experts, will be celebrating the milestone with a look back at some of the program’s best moments, and what lead Cityline to be one of the most-watched, longest-running daytime television shows in Canadian TV history.

The primetime special to air on City Thursday, Feb 20 at 8 p.m. ET (9 p.m. MT/7 p.m. CT) will not only feature some of Tracy and the experts’ favourite moments, but will be fully interactive, featuring your viewer memories on-air through social media. They will be tweeting throughout the program @CitylineCA and #Cityline30, as well as posting photos on their Facebook and Instagram feeds.

In a special 30th-anniversary section online at Cityline.ca/30, you can find a ‘Vintage Cityline‘ page where each weekday leading up to the special, a vintage clip will be posted featuring one of their guest experts–talk about a throwback!

Take a stroll down Memory Lane by clicking here. Plus, send your favourite memories of the show from years gone by. Share a tip that you learned from one of their guest experts, a particularly fond or funny memory that stands out in your mind, or a project that inspired you to attempt your own version at home.

Email your memories and/or photos to submissions@cityline.ca, with the subject line: Cityline 30th Anniversary. Be sure to include your name and contact info, including where you’re from.

Congratulations, Cityline!
