Road closures in Toronto: June 20-23

Below is a list of road closures in Toronto on June 20-23.


World Pride Festival opening ceremonies
Friday, 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The following road closures will be in effect:

  • Bay Street, from Queen to Dundas streets
  • Hagerman Street, from Elizabeth to Bay streets
  • Elizabeth Street, from Dundas to Hagerman streets
  • Albert Street, from Bay to James streets
  • James Street, from Queen to Albert streets

TTC Bay Street buses will be on diversion in the area.

The event on Friday starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until around 10:40 p.m.

The Village Welcomes the World
Friday at 6 p.m. to Monday at 2 a.m.

Church Street from Wood Street to Gloucester Street will be closed.

North by Northeast Music Festival
Friday to Sunday

On Friday, Yonge Street will be closed from Dundas to Queen streets from 7 p.m. to midnight, while on Saturday and Sunday the closure will be in effect from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Port Union Village Waterfront Festival
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Port Union Road south of Lawrence Avenue from Shoalhaven Drive to Bridgend Street will be closed.

Journey to Conquer Cancer Run/Walk 5K
Sunday, 8 a.m. to noon

Road closures will be in effect in the area bounded by McCaul, Bloor, Bay and Gerrard streets.
