The Black Market Vintage closes the basement door

For many Queen Street West shoppers, the Black Market has been a staple for thrifty finds. It was announced on Monday that the Black Market Vintage will be closing its basement-bunker doors to move to a new location at 347 Queen Street West.

For many, the Black Market was a go-to spot for bargain shoppers and hipster enthusiasts alike. Equipped with loud music and everything priced at $10 or less, the jammed-packed warehouse space has been home to the Black Market since 1998.

Technically the new space had a soft launch last fall, but by the end of June, it will come to replace the current Black Market space completely.

With the dawn of a new era, we can all think back to fond thoughts of the OG Black Market. Black Market basement bunker, you will be missed.
