Police release more photos and video of suspect in Mississauga break-ins

News Staff | posted Tuesday, Jul 23rd, 2019

Peel police have released more photos as well as security camera footage of a man wanted in connection with multiple break-ins in Mississauga.

Last week, police released blurry images of the suspect after multiple break and enters were reported between July 13 and 17 at homes in the area of Glengarry Road, Dundas Street West, Queensway West and Mavis Road.

Each incident occurred during the early morning hours and police say it appears the suspect got into the home, or tried to get into the home, through the back gate, rear or side property access points. He then proceeded to look for unlocked windows or doors.

On Monday, police released new video of the suspect and a still image from that video (seen at top of page).

The suspect is described as a male in his 20s with a slim build and some facial hair, wearing a baseball hat.

Police are reminding homeowners to lock their side and rear gates, make sure all windows and doors are locked and consider installing motion senor lights.

Anyone with information is asked to call Peel police or crime stoppers.
